The Stage

THE STAGE marks Meiro Gallery’s first true bow within the luminous corridors of a shopping mall—a setting where we have once presented works, yet never before unfolded a fully realized exhibition. This moment feels like a threshold crossed, a decisive chapter in our unfolding journey. THE STAGE is both metaphor and promise: a space offered to carefully chosen artists to stand in fuller light, to be witnessed more intimately by the public—especially within the vibrant pulse of North Jakarta. Arriving alongside the March national holiday, the exhibition opens its arms to wandering audiences, granting them the leisure to pause, to look closer, and to discover the quiet stories breathing within each work.

As the gallery steps into its second year, a new chapter unfolds—one filled with greater ambition, expanded visions, and a growing commitment to the artists and community it serves. Building upon the momentum of its first year, the gallery looks ahead with renewed energy, presenting more dynamic exhibitions, meaningful collaborations, and thoughtful programs that continue to celebrate artistic voices from both Indonesia and beyond.

Amid the vibrant rhythm of the festive season, K Mall transforms into a living gallery where art meets everyday life. Sculptures rise gracefully through open spaces while paintings unfold along the corridors, inviting visitors to pause, gather, and experience moments of reflection within the excitement of celebration. This exhibition brings together more than 10 artists whose works resonate with imagination, memory, and contemporary spirit—creating an atmosphere where creativity becomes part of the public landscape. Beyond simply presenting art, the exhibition seeks to draw crowds into a shared cultural encounter, gathering the community in a space of discovery while introducing the city’s audience to the voices of these exceptional artists.

This exhibition would not have been possible without the generous support and shared vision of our partners and community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the art gallery team whose dedication continues to champion artists and bring meaningful art experiences to the public, as well as to our furniture partners whose design sensibilities enrich the exhibition environment. Our sincere thanks also go to the media partners who amplify the voices of the artists and help connect the exhibition with a wider audience across the city. Above all, we are deeply grateful to the art community—artists, collectors, supporters, and visitors—whose passion and presence give life to this celebration of creativity and make moments like this truly meaningful.

This exhibition is proudly supported by Sankhara Art Management & Kendys Gallery, two remarkable galleries together under the flagship of Andis Gallery Group devoted to nurturing the evolution of sculpture and painting in Indonesia. To many more years of dedication to art—supporting brilliant artists, nurturing emerging voices, and preserving the richness of Indonesia’s art culture and community. Wishing your gallery continued growth and inspiration ahead. May we keep on collaborating

It is further strengthened by the refined presence of Vinnare, alongside valued media partners—The Artivist, Sejakarta, and Mature IDN—whose voices help carry the spirit of art to a wider horizon. Meiro Gallery also extends its deepest gratitude to the ASRI Management for this opportunity. After once presenting our sculptural voices along the corridors of Ashta District 8 and K Mall, we are now entrusted with something even more profound—the chance to unfold a realized exhibition. For this generous space, for the belief placed in our vision, we are sincerely thankful. May this moment be only the beginning, and may more inspired collaborations await us on the horizon.
