The Maps of Meaning brings together a diverse group of artists whose practices arise from distinct personal pursuits, each charting a unique course through the complexities of human experience. The Exhibition proposes that life is composed of countless destinations, each determined by personal experiences, values, and aspirations. The artists gathered here do not seek the same outcomes, nor do they share a common route; yet their diverse pursuits reveal a universal condition—the search for meaning itself. Through their varied perspectives, viewers are invited to reflect on the richness of human motivation and the many ways individuals define fulfillment. In a world often driven by comparison and consensus, the exhibition celebrates difference, encouraging us to recognize that every life follows its own map, shaped by distinct objectives, beliefs, and dreams.
AC Andre Tanama delves into memory and personal history, uncovering the experiences that shape identity. Arkiv Vilmansa continues his exploration of the sea and its symbolic dimensions. Arsita Pinandita explores how visual language, creative expression, and cultural trends shape the identities, behaviors, and experiences of younger generations. Berniaz Adha reflects on the gratitude and resilience required to sustain a life of prosperity. Faisal Darmawan revisits the wonder of childhood, imagination, and adventure. Felix Aprico examines contemporary social phenomena. Ndikol navigates themes of wealth, ambition, and material aspiration. Red Miller Blood investigates the tension between confidence and insecurity. Completing the exhibition, young artists from Kreaby—Gary, Jeremy, Joey, Joshua, Keken, and Rama—seek to engage the public through the presentation of their fresh and emerging creative voices Together, these works form a constellation of personal maps—navigating desire, purpose, belief, and many paths through which individuals seek in the world.
