𝘓𝘦 𝘓𝘶𝘤𝘦 (𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵) is the quiet vow the darkness never hears coming—the gentle insistence that even the smallest glow can redraw the night. It does not argue with the shadows; it enters them, soft and patient, revealing what fear tries to hide. In its presence, wounds become stories, paths reappear, and silence learns how to breathe again. as the exhibition present AC Andre Tanama artworks from time to time.
This exhibition marks the long-awaited collaboration between an art gallery and a jewelry company marks a refined convergence of art and fashion. Jewel of Eden is a jewelry house that operates since 2005 with commitment in displaying artworks in their stores.
Rooted in a shared commitment to creativity and cultural expression, the project transforms jewelry into wearable artworks while extending the gallery’s curatorial vision beyond traditional exhibition spaces. Through this project, artistic narratives are translated into sculptural forms, materials, and details, offering a sensorial dialogue between body, object, and space.
AC Andre Tanama is a professional artist from Indonesia. While being active as a fine art lecturer in Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta (Indonesia Institute of the Arts), he is also being active creating visual artworks in various media such as drawing, printmaking, painting, and sculpture. Since 2007 until now, he has focused on exploring his signature figure: Gwen Silent—as a metaphor for various issues and ideas. He brought Gwen Silent in many exhibitions in Indonesia and other countries such as Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, China, Japan, Switzerland, Italy, The United States, Netherlands, Singapore, Portugal, and Australia.
Built on a shared philosophy of craftsmanship, experimentation, and cultural relevance, the project extends the gallery’s curatorial vision beyond the exhibition space while inviting the jewelry house to engage deeply with artistic narrative and concept of AC Andre Tanama. The result is a thoughtfully curated collection that celebrates cross-disciplinary collaboration and redefines the boundaries between artistic practice and design. Not only it reflects the spirit of collaboration but it also proposes a new way of experiencing art—one that moves fluidly between the body, the gallery, and the wider audience.
Light does not erase the dark—it teaches it where to rest, reminding us that to shine is not to be loud, but to be unwavering.
