K Mall Grand Opening
For the long-awaited opening of the new K Mall shopping mall at Menara Jakarta Kemayoran, Meiro Gallery was honored to present a special sculptural installation marking this milestone moment. 3 contemporary sculptures were placed across the mall’s central public spaces, transforming the architecture into an open-air gallery and inviting visitors to encounter art as part of their everyday experience.
The installation celebrates the dialogue between culture, design, and urban life — offering a moment of reflection, playfulness, and discovery within the energy of a newly born destination.
This collaboration reflects Meiro Gallery’s ongoing commitment to bringing contemporary art beyond traditional gallery walls and into public, accessible environments. By integrating sculpture into the opening day of the mall, the project symbolizes a meeting point between creativity and commerce, where art becomes a shared language that welcomes the community, enriches the space, and marks the beginning of a new chapter for both the mall and its visitors.
