Evate—a softened echo of elevate—unfolds as Meiro Gallery’s first group exhibition of 2026, marking not only the beginning of a new year but a deliberate ascent in vision and purpose. The title reflects an inner movement upward: a quiet yet determined resolve to reach further, curate deeper, and stand more firmly within an ever-evolving artistic landscape. It symbolizes Meiro Gallery’s renewed commitment to growth—conceptual, curatorial, and cultural—setting the tone for the path ahead.
Elevate brings together a constellation of artists committed to transcending inherited limits—personal, social, and aesthetic through works that radiate optimism and forward motion. This exhibition centers on the transformative power of positivity, not as naïve idealism, but as an active, deliberate practice of rising above previous standards and reimagining what is possible. Across painting, sculpture, installation, and mixed media, the artworks embody ascent: luminous color palettes, upward gestures, layered materials, and expanding forms that visually and conceptually suggest growth. Four carefully chosen new voices enter the space with quiet confidence (Brad Donovan, Koncrete Haze, Mara, Nyochotan, Suanjaya Kencut), while six long-standing artists of the gallery return with refined strength (AC Andre Tanama, Arkiv Vilmansa, Berniaz Adha, Kung Sholl, Javier Gonzalez Burgos, Ndikol, Nicolas Lesaffre), presenting works shaped by time, growth, and sharpened vision. Together, they lift the exhibition into a shared moment of elevation, where ambition meets maturity and art learns to soar.
